THE ONLY WAY IS LEICESTER

Deeply splendid fun was had at the Leicester Comedy Festival, with a sold-out performance of Holmes and Watson – thanks to all who came and filled the Belmont Hotel with human bodies and laughter! The return to London was a post-apocalyptic hellride through a snowbound wilderness – Ivan’s remarkably accurate driving was all that kept us alive (thankfully he’s recently given up drink-driving, on a bet). The Roffle Club is happening tomorrow – snow be [...]

The Guardian Guide - 07 Feb

Check. It. Out. In a beautiful and auspicious prelude to the EPIC SIX-NIGHT SOHO THEATRE RUN of our show ‘Max and Ivan are Holmes and Watson’, the good people of the Guardian have recommended us in the Guide! ★WE’RE GOING TO THE GOD DAMN SOHO THEATRE FOR SIX GOD DAMN NIGHTS ★

Holmes and Watson at the Soho Theatre

How can one best convey the feeling of pure, white-knuckle, terror-flecked excitement? For six wildly-ambitious nights, we’re taking ‘Holmes and Watson’ to the infamous Soho Theatre. Fuckin' YEAH.

On DECEMBER 11th, the PAJAMA MEN are coming to the ROFFLE CLUB. This is, of course, HUGELY MASSIVELY EXCITING.   For those at the back who haven’t been paying attention, the Pajama Men are a critically lauded, internationally beloved double act who do travel the world making people laugh on a totally full time basis. It is, in fairness, not difficult to see why we admire them (also, by chance, they first rose to prominence in this country [...]

Yah, we’re, like, pretty big at festivals…

Crunch, baby.

Art and philosophy festivals, that is! Heyooo. No we didn’t know they existed, either. But they do, and they’re awesome. Or, at the very least, the Crunch Festival in Hay on Wye is – and that’s where we were.

Not knowing quite what to expect, we balled up (inasmuch as one can ‘ball’ anywhere in a lime green Ford KA) to an upper middle-class hippie wonderland; a hillside dotted with a series of deeply fabulous marquees, containing performance areas [...]
