THE WRESTLING COMETH

Holmes and Watson awarded ‘Best Comedy’ at Buxton Fringe

buxton

Good lord! We had a wonderful sunny weekend at the Buxton Fringe a few weeks ago – we performed our Edinburgh show, ‘Max and Ivan Are Holmes and Watson’ to lovely sold-out crowds, and hung out with our phenomenally generous Couch Surfing hostess, Ansty (seriously – we got double beds and a cooked breakfast. A++++, would surf again). Then we came back to angry, smog-filled London and thought nothing more about it.

HOWEVER – the festival has just finished, and it turns out we’ve won their ‘Best Comedy’ award! Magnificent stuff; thank you people of Buxton! It’s a beautifully auspicious boost en route to Edinburgh (which is literally a week away. Good god) – and the best bit is we still haven’t quite finished editing the show. Let’s do this.

Hello internet!

What an exciting bout of e-rejuvenation, taking place like all good things in life do; at 4.50am. The website’s had a nice subtle facelift – nothing too trashy though, more like Louis Walsh’s tasteful eye-bag removal than Rupert Everett’s terrifying waxy death mask. Stay tuned – bare comedy news coming your way, blud. And by you I mean *you*. Yeah, you. Max x
